Our Prom Gowns
Prom is such a fun time for a girl. It is often the biggest dance they will attend in high school. It can also be very frustrating for girls and mothers alike who are searching for a dress that has sleeves or is more modest than what can be readily found at the mall. We know these frustrations! After having grown up in Utah and still finding it hard to find a beautiful modest dress (that was different from something you could purchase at the mall and see 10 of your friends wearing) , Sweetheart Bridal Owner, Shelley, was determined to find better solutions for the high school aged girls. She shares, “I wanted to be a designer so I could provide modest options for girls who had higher dress standards. It was very frustrating in high school to search and search and still not find anything that would work. I also didn’t like the option of having to add a jacket to every dress I saw. However, I was not blessed with any artistic abilities so I knew drawing my own designs would not be in my future.” Nearly 10 years after graduating high school, Shelley is delighted to finally be able to offer Modest Prom Dresses at our boutique.
